What do you mean by Vintage Collection?
Canyon Group has been around since 1991. Many of our famous designs were made in the 1990s and early 2000s, we refer to these robes as our vintage collection. We are making many of these vintage styles brand for you and re-releasing them on our website.
We still own the same vintage chenille tufting machines that made classic robes like Wedding Cake and Auntie ‘Em, we are the only manufacture who has the equipment to make these robes.
Why does the Auntie ‘Em and Wedding Cale robe cost so much more?
These robes are the true definition of vintage and preserve a lost art. These robes are made using machines that are almost 100 years old, they are well taken care of and are unique to the production of the specific swirls and flowers that you see on the robes.
The designs are created from one large sheet of poly blend linen (to meet flammability standards) and hand tufted with cotton yarn. This is a laborious procedure and takes many many hours to complete. We have a handful of staff specific trained to use and carefully handle our antique machines to create the robes that are so greatly loved.
Do you offer returns?
Unfortunately we do not offer returns as all robes are made to order. However, we do exchanges, alterations and store crediits.
Is this the same Canyon Group from the 90s on TV shows?
Yes, we are the same Canyon Group EST in 1991. We still produce chenille from yarn at our factory location in Georgia. We had been selling our robes to boutiques and big box stores like Dillards and Macys for many years but in 2024 we decided to relaunch the brand to be direct to consumer.
